Intel announced today an array of new products that will bring high performance and power efficient solutions to the data center, network and home. The products include Intel® Visual Compute Accelerator , which will bring media and graphics capabilities into Intel® Xeon® processor E5-based servers for low-power, high-density, scalable solutions; the Intel® Puma™ 7 , an SoC for cable home gateways that will allow cable operators to ultimately increase broadband speeds; and the Intel® AnyWAN™ GRX550 , a network processor for xDSL and Fiber home gateways, which will enable cutting-edge quality of service, premium user experience, and unparalleled routing and data throughput. These solutions, which are on display at Intel’s IBC booth in Amsterdam, Hall 4.B72, will further the goal of enabling anytime, anywhere media consumption for consumers.
